Rosedale Farms & Vineyards teams up with Max Catering & Events for extraordinary evenings including farm tours, wine tastings, and a four- to six-course feast crafted from Rosedale's farm-fresh ingredients.

Chef-to-Farm Dinners are held during the evening throughout the summer and fall, capturing the essence of the seasons around us.

Corn Maze (Closed)

One of our most popular events! Enjoy the crisp autumn air while getting a little exercise over a 6-acre course. Bring the whole family... just make sure you leave with the whole family.

We typically offer a variety of pricing packages and tickets may include a free pumpkin for the kids and apple cider donuts.

In past years we've incorporated a "character theme" to the maze including Dr. Suess and Alice in Wonderland. Who knows what we'll do this year?

Your vineyard wedding in Simsbury, Connecticut.

Imagine getting married in a vineyard in Connecticut – having cocktails on the lawn over looking fields of flowers and a beautiful tree line. Dinner and dancing in our 60' x 90' tent and ending your evening with not one but two fire pits to enjoy under the stars.

Rosedale Farms & Vineyards hosts only one full day event each weekend from June through mid October. Our vineyard is yours from Friday at 10am for set up, if you so choose, until 10am on Sunday for any additional clean-up and to collect any left behind items. ***Please note: All tables and chairs must be broken down the evening of the event***

We visited early morning when they were displaying produce for sale. A variety of berries, cherries, peaches, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes and the list goes on. Absolutely beautiful to the eye and my camera. The vineyard sits behind the produce stand. The red barn in the distance is a picturesque backdrop for the rows of grapevines. Wish we could stay around for the wine events.

Often stop in for baked goods and local vegetables. They also have a wine tasting it’s so close to Hartford yet feels like you are out in the country. Parking is good. Wine tasting is a nice treat if you are looking for something to do on a day date. Not expensive and worth the visit.

This is a winery that should appeal to both sweet and dry wine lovers. The regular wines are all enjoyable and delicious. The dessert wines were very good and my sweet tooth was quite happy with this visit. The staff here was friendly and in good spirits. There are additional things to do like a corn maze and shopping for other food items. We had a variety of baked goods that were all really tasty. The additional things present on the grounds make for better value on the experience and gives more of an excuse to go back at a later date.

Rosedale prides itself on excellence, whether it's food, wine, or hospitality. Super fresh produce, best native corn in CT (try their super sweet if in season), fine wine, and delicious baked goods. Trails for hiking to and along the Farmington River are open to the public. Nice for picnicking. Fun corn maze in the fall!

I have visited this farm twice during the summer, and both times I had a great time. We participated in the wine tasting. We really enjoyed it so we bought bread from the farm market and a bottle of wine. We then sat out in the vineyard and had a wonderful time just chatting. This was such a great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Rosedale has been around for generations and has grown over the years to be a viable farm stand and store. The corn is the best around and sells briskly. Veggie choices are numerous and in high demand (and because of it some may be brought in from other farms). The wine is very good, especially Lou's Red, named after the founding patriarch. Wines are made with their own local grapes, as well as blended with imported grapes or juice from California. Wine tasting is offered at the store and in the summer there are farm dinners on many weekends. It is a great stop for bicyclists riding in the Farmington River Valley and just a few hundred yards off the trail.
