Classic White Wines

Simsbury Celebration

Simsbury Celebration

Our estate grown Seyval shines in this year’s Simsbury Celebration and fully expresses its Chardonnay parentage. Sage and honey notes are balanced by a background of minerality drawn from our unique soils of the Farmington River Valley. Hints of ginger and summer savory show up on the finish.

750 ml: $18.00

Three Sisters

Three Sisters

Cayuga, one of the major varieties grown at Rosedale, is paired this year with Sauvignon Blanc resulting in a bright, citrus-noted wine with faint hints of meadow grass and a sweet pear finish. This tantalizing balance of acidity and fruit shines as a cocktail as well as being perfectly suited to pair with lighter seafood dishes such as flounder or sole.

750 ml: $18.00

Elkies White

Elkie's White

Elkie’s White presents itself as a multi-layered, intensely flavored interpretation of the Vignoles grape, which prospers in our Rosedale vineyards. Its rich color matches its depth of flavor – all balanced with a firm acidity. A soft background of berry flavors and dried herbs wrap around the finish. This is a crisp white wine that begs to be served with any number of foods.

750 ml: $18.00

Classic Red Wines

Lou's Red

Lou’s Red

Rosedale’s Foch and St. Croix grapes are featured in this year’s Lou’s Red. Against a background of Merlot and Sangiovese, they bring rich blackberry tones and a wonderful color to the blend along with a pleasant natural acidity. This wine’s firm tannins backdrop a smooth, complex wine with an intriguing berry nose and lingering elegant finish.

750 ml: $22.00

Farmington River Red

Farmington River Red

Our estate grown Marquette excels in this year’s offering when paired with Cabernet Sauvignon. This fruit-forward blend with its lush profile stands as an intriguing contrast to our Lou’s Red. All the classic descriptors of Cabernet Sauvignon come into focus with sensuous layers of cherry and blackberry blending into a background of herb-laced plum, sage and cedar.

750 ml: $22.00

Simsbury Celebration

Winter Red

The name Winter Red might suggest a full, hearty red wine, but this wine is quite the opposite. It is a bright, fresh tasting, lightly structured red wine with cascading flavors of cherry and mixed black fruits. In short, it’s a little less serious and a lot more playful than Lou’s Red or Farmington River Red - more akin to a light Chianti or Beaujolais. Think picnics, grilled kielbasa or chicken.

750 ml: $20.00

Blush Wines

Summer Bouquet

Summer Bouquet

Red raspberries are the inspiration for this wine which matches a blend of our estate grown Meynieu, LaCross and Cayuga with the essence of red raspberry. The naturally higher acidity of these grapes balances out a smooth sweetness and sets up the perfect wine to serve with any number of desserts or even over ice on a hot summer afternoon.

750 ml: $18.00

Dessert Wines

In 2015 we allowed several rows of our Vignoles to ripen later into the fall with the goal of making a true dessert wine. The grapes developed a rich golden color and the sugars reached levels well above what we would normally expect. A brief cold soak on the skins imparted a deep elegant amber color to the wine. Only 420 bottles of this late harvest wine were made.

375 ml: $12.00

Boutique Wines

Our Sundance features Chardonnay with the added essence of peaches and apricots. A classic Chardonnay taste profile moves to a new level when crafted to showcase the sweet side of fruit and wine grapes with just 2/3 the alcohol of a regular Chardonnay. Over ice by the pool? In the hammock with a good book? Why not?

750 ml: $18.00

Summer Red

Summer Red

Blueberries and Pinot Noir…what a combination! Pinot Noir by itself is a classic. But introducing the flavor of blueberries with a touch of sweetness creates a unique experience. Add to that its low alcohol content of just 8 percent, and when slightly chilled, you have the perfect sipping companion.

750 ml: $22.00
