Vineyard Selections
White Wine
Simsbury Celebration
Our 2011 Simsbury Celebration is 100% Rosedale’s own estate grown Seyval Blanc. Notes of melon and apricot infuse a smooth, nearly creamy wine with soft acids and a complex structure. Soft mineral overtones drawn from the soils of the Farmington River Valley reveal themselves on the finish. 375ml: $7.99, 750ml: $14.99

Serendipity
This year’s Serendipity is 100% Riesling and offers all that one might expect out of a big, powerful white wine. Notes of green apple and peach precede a crisp, firmly structured mouthfeel featuring hints of honey, mineral, citrus fruits and to some, a faint spiciness. This Riesling is a perfect complement for meals featuring sword fish or seafood dishes with rich cream sauces. 750 ml: $14.99
Three Sisters
Made from 100% Rosedale grapes, Three Sisters offers faint aromas of dried herbs and fresh meadow grass. What follows is a tantalizing balance of acidity and fruit offering a crisp, delicate dinner wine perfectly suited to pair with lighter seafood dishes such as flounder, sole or crab. Sweet melon and a hint of lemon zest on the finish. 77% Cayuga, 23% Seyval Blanc. 750 ml: $14.99
Blush Wine
Summer Bouquet
Rosedale’s ever expanding plantings of red raspberries are the inspiration for this wine which matches a blend of estate grown Vignoles, Seyval, Vidal and Traminette with the essence of red raspberry. Finished in a semi-dry fashion, this wine offers a floral bouquet of citrus and ripe raspberry which is happy served either with a meal, with dessert or over ice on a warm afternoon. 750 ml: $13.99
Red Wine
Lou’s Red
Lou’s Red weaves in the spicy brightness of Rosedale’s estate grown St. Croix and the blackberry flavors of our Marchal Foch and Marquette against a background of California Merlot and Sangiovese grapes. The result is a complex fruit forward wine with an intriguing berry nose and subtle tannins. 375ml: $10.99, 750 ml: $19.99
Farmington River Red
This year’s Farmington River Red is 100% old vine California Petite Sirah, harvested specifically for us by the Lanza Family Vineyards in California’s Suisun Valley. Its sensuous earthy nose is followed by herb laced plum, wild berry and sage flavors with a hint of cedar and soft, round tannins. Enjoy the long, smoky finish. 750 ml: $19.99
